The Kartikeya Educational Society was established in 2006 by highly qualified and experienced people with the only intention of starting educational institutions for providing apex standards of pharmacy and Technical Education to the students of to-day becoming to be backbone of the world, particularly of Indian Pharmaceutics Industry.

Venkateshwara Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (VIPS) was promoted by Kartikeya Educational Society (KES) in 2007. The society was founded by Mr. J. Sandeep Reddy, a noted academician, social worker under KES in 2006, with the soul purpose of brining quality education closer to the rural students. The Institute with sprawling lush green campus 5.06 acres is located in a non-polluted environment at Cherlapally about 6 kms from the heart of the Nalgonda town with the built up area of 45000 Sq.fts

The institute offers a four year B. Pharm and two year M.Pharm programs with two core specializations Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis.

The institution is approved by AICTE, PCI - New Delhi and Affiliated to JNTUH. It has state-of-art facilities and well qualified and experienced faculty to cater the current needs of 21st Century and has well equipped modern Labs and extensive computing facilities for Pharmacy education and Research.
