Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore is popularly known as S.G.S. Institute of Technology & Science or SGSITS was established in 1952 as a technical institute offering licentiate and diploma courses in engineering. • All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has declared the institute as autonomous in 1989
