Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. College of Technical education (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Research) was established in the session 2000-2001 under the patronage of its parent body G.L. Bihani, S.D. Shiksha Trust. The Institute is located in the city in a sprawling campus spread over in fifty bighas of land. The institute is recognized by PCI, AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Science (RUHS) and is imparting both B. Pharm. and M.Pharm. (Quality Assurance) course. It encompasses eighteen well equipped laboratories, highly sophisticated analytical Lab. industrial pharmacy lab. to meet GMP guidelines having latest equipment, modern guidelines having latest equipment, modern biotechnology lab drug information center herbal garden, animal house and canteen, since its inception, the institute has become center, herbal garden, animal house and canteen, since its inception, the institute has become center of excellence and created its own niche in the field of pharmaceutical education in country. The students of this institute has been doing excellently will by grabbing virtually all top positions in university examinations and even in GATE competition. The institute has created its own placement assistance cell to help student find suitable placement and also GATE preparation cell under the supervision of senior teacher. The students are also provided opportunities for extracurricular activities by participating in sports, in declamation contests and seminars. The students are also exposed to latest knowledge by inviting eminent guest scientists in pharmacy. All efforts have been made to create a very healthy and academic environment to help student to grow and think independenty.
