Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda (MSU Baroda) is one of the best universities in Gujarat. It was founded in the year 1881 as Baroda College and renamed as the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in the year 1949. It is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MSU is the only state University with a residential, unitary character having English as the sole medium of instruction. The university offers UG, PG and Doctorate courses in various streams. MSU Courses are provided through different departments of the university.
MSU Baroda has 1200 well-qualified faculty members and 1500 administrative staff to facilitate the learning of more than 35000 students. MSU is situated on 275 acres of land with state of the art infrastructure. MSU Baroda comprises 14 Faculties, 19 Departments and 3 constituent colleges namely- Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, M. K. Amin Arts and Science College and College of Commerce, Padra and Polytechnic.
