K.K. College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1992 under the leadership of Prof. KR.Arumugam, Educationalist, Academician who has served as a member of senate and governing council of the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Ever since its inception, the Institute grew from strength to strength starting with diploma and degree in pharmacy and gaining the full-fledged pharmacy college status including master and Ph. D Programme in Chennai.

K.K. College of Pharmacy is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai and approved by the AICTE , & Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and Govt of Tamil Nadu The college is located in a green environment at Gerugambakkam, Off Porur - Kundrathur Road.
