Vikram University (VU) in Ujjain is recently ranked at 373 in the Indian University rankings of 2019. Earlier it was ranked 147^th in the 2017 rankings of NIRF. With INR 40,000 as course fee, students get satisfactory placements of INR 2-3 Lacs per annum as their average salary package in the placement process. The university currently has 171 affiliated Colleges and 28 schools & Institutions with a strength of 11 faculties and 1,50,000+ students. 

Vikram University is well-known for its BA and MA programs offered in the various streams of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Admission to UG and PG programs are merit-based whereas Doctoral program admissions require entrance-exam scores (conducted by the university).
