Central India Institute of Pharmacy is established from the year 2003 under the meticulous foresight dynamic & potential vision of Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddheshiya Sanstha.After successfully launching Diploma in Pharmacy course in 2003, the Society foresighted the need of a good Pharmacy institution (Bachelor of Pharmacy) under the Jurisdiction of Nagpur University.

Recognition by all apex bodies itself indicates the highest level of academic standards, facilities available and the Intelligentsia associated with the college.With persistent and sincere efforts of the Principal and the devoted efforts of the staff members of the institution, the students have since its inception in the year 2003, shown meritorious results achieving topmost ranks in Technical Boards Examination. Versatile and meritorious students of the institution go for higher education in other reputed Technical (Educational) institutions in the country as well as abroad. Besides academics, students are continuously exposed to various extra curricular activities like workshop, seminars, Industrial visits, conferences, Annual Social Gathering to develop them as the future managers to take the responsibilities in professional field with positive attitude, confidence and ethics.

Every year Institute arranged Medical Check-up Camp for the poor section of the people. Last year institute arranged Blood Donation Camp at our college premises. Institute is playing major role in solving problems of unemployment by conducting various programmes for self employment like EDP (Enterprenurship Development Programme) sponsored by Ministry of Food Processing Unit Of INDIA. Institute arrange workshop on RADP profiling of medicinal plants under guidance of Dr. Saibal Biswas.
