Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1988 in a serene campus surrounded by scenic mountainous setting at Krishnankoil.
It was started with Diploma in Pharmacy course. Then in the year 1992 degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course was started. Continuing the upward growth of the institution in 2003 Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) was started with Pharmaceutical Chemistry specialization. In the year 2004, two more specializations (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis) were added. Thus, college became the only Post Graduate pharmacy institution south of Madurai.
