Abasaheb Kakade College of B. Pharmacy (AKCOBP), Ahmednagar was established in 2006.

Its affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

It has been managed by NavMaharashtra Shikshan Mandal.

The objectives of the institute are to provide proper education and trained students in the thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, to contribute for betterment of health status in the state as well as country and to cater to the needs of the fast expanding pharmaceutical industry, education institutions and research laboratories.

The vision of the institute is to fulfill the mission to develop young men and women in the field of technical education and to achieve good interaction between industry and academia.
